During the Summer of 2010, Yorel has been interviewing most all the departments at multiple health systems, including the OR, ER, Patient Floors, Outpatient surgery centers, etc... to learn something very valuable: The Main complaint of users (doctors, nurses, clinicians, etc..) is that they have TOO MANY IDS AND PASSWORDS AND IT TAKES TOO LONG TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE SYSTEMS! Healthcare employees find ways to circumvent policy due to the priority of healthcare – This is risky for the patient and hospital - it doesn't have to be this way!

Our team at Yorel has created a Clinical Workstation Access Solution to address the 2 main concern of most healthcare workers. The ability to move between clinical workstations in an efficient manor with little delays - with needed mobility utilizing Carts on Wheels (COWs) where applicable! This type of workstation access solution reduces the time it takes the clinical user to utilize technology - allowing practitioners more time with their patients, due to spending less time with necessary technology. This solution improves the patient care process with simplified, efficient systems access with single sign-on into clinical application suites, PACS, etc...

I am glad you are in the place where you can use your gifts. Your story sounds very similar to mine. I have had a blast these last 18 months. I am tired but very fulfilled and know that i am doing what God created me to do. Thanks for sharing and know that I am praying for you in your time of transition. You're probably right that it would have been an awful experience, and they likely would have taken credit in the end for any creative input you had in the process...everything happens for a reason, and I'm sure you're better off where you are now! It also sounds like you learned from it, so that's invaluable!

They should make an effort to at least ease up the system. Efficiency and time is an important commodity in healthcare.

This is great development for health care service. Gone are the days when every process in hospitals took so long, proper care wasn't being provided fast enough.
